When I photograph you, there is only one goal I want to achieve: I want the pictures to warm your heart.
As a photographer, I want to capture those peals of laughter, smiles of joy, and the fleeting moments of intimacy shared between you those closest to your heart. Through my lens I hope to document the important moments of your life, and to preserve those feelings of joy and happiness so you can reflect on those feelings and memories in the years to come.
Photographs have the ability to convey emotion, and that is something I strive to do in my work.
Portraiture. Many years later, when you are alone in a hotel room after a long day on a business trip, you pull out your phone to look at pictures of your kids. You smile in amazement at how little they once were, and how they have grown up into the people they are today.
Engagement. After a hectic day at work, you come home to the comfort of your living room. As you idly flip through your engagement pictures, you smile in contentment, knowing that you are going to start a family with the one you love.
Wedding. In the late hours of the evening, the two of you are sitting at the kitchen table with reading glasses perched on the bridge of your nose. As you look through your wedding pictures, you smile with gratitude, knowing that together, you have come this far.
If the images warm your heart, I know I did my work.
